New York’s Unintended Health Benefits
All the studies outlining the health perils of sitting at a desk for long periods of time have started to concern me. I have been cognizant of staying in motion, whether riding the subway with a client or running to a real estate management office.
More and more, I have been thinking about possibly getting a standing desk.
However, having viewed a whopping 14 Manhattan apartments — and climbing 42 flights of stairs — yesterday from the Financial District to the Upper West Side, I felt better that I didn’t need to be concerned every single day.
A better, bigger umbrella might have been a better focal point in yesterday’s torrential downpour.
